We were delighted with the success of the winter 2018 Bumble Bimble, a bi-annual community charity fund-raising run around the Dodford Countryside. The chosen charity for the winter 2018 event was the Dodford Children's Holiday Farm. The Children's holiday farm is a small, registered children's charity in Worcestershire, offering holidays and short breaks on their farm to children who are less fortunate than most and particularly those living in deprived areas. Some of the children who come to stay at the farm are disabled or have special needs. So far, the event has raised over £3100 for this charity, along with raising nearly £500 for the Peru Crew - which is to sponsor 4 year 11 school children from North Bromsgrove High School to volunteer in poverty stricken rural villages and helping rebuild schools in Peru.
We are thankful to the volunteers, especially run Director Alex Dentith. All the costs running of the event, including the costs of the t-shirts were jointly funded by Bumble Hole Foods and another brilliant local company Champion Security Installations https://www.championcctv.co.uk/.
