We believe in a partnership approach. We have developed strong working relationships with our selected farms and have every confidence in the quality of their animals, sites, and hygiene.
We are located centrally in the country which gives us an excellent geographical position to deliver to customers and we work in close partnership with our customers – helping to deliver the quantities, quality, and special bespoke requirements they have.
Bumble Hole Foods started off in 1961 when the current owner‘s Father and Grandfather, David and William Hewston, started a smallholding. The ethos they worked to all those years ago still stands today – the best quality products coupled with with outstanding service.
Their dedication to and investment in the company saw it grow from strength to strength and by the 1970’s they were supplying many regional supermarkets.
The 1980’s saw the company add to their product range with pasteurised egg products, while in the 1990’s Bumble Hole Foods started producing boiled eggs and egg mayonnaise.
Since then, the company continued to grow steadily, and is now responsible for supplying eggs and egg products to most of the major UK food manufacturers.
This is only possible thanks to our state-of-the-art food processing factory which can break 325,000 eggs per hour and produce 2.5 million hard boiled eggs per week.
Our investment into our factory, equipment, and staff has enabled us to develop into one of the most highly rated egg suppliers in the country.
